1. Webquest can be an effective teaching tool because students are able to see just how much information there is related to many subjects.

2. Webquest is also an effective tool because it is an unconventional way for students to complete some of their assignments.  Many students may feel that it is more engaging than the typical “drill and kill” method.

3. Webquest is also effective for students due to the fact that they are able to complete tasks at their own pace.  One of the most important factors to consider when giving students assignments is appropriate time.

4. Webquest is a great tool that can enable students to become more proficient at sifting through the vast quantity of information available and focusing on ideas that are most relevant to the content.

1. PowerPoint can be a very effective tool in the classroom when used appropriately.  PowerPoint should be interactive and require that students complete some task at various stages throughout the PowerPoint presentation.
2. PowerPoint should be used in a classroom as a means of supplementing material rather than replacing material.  Teachers should never just “read” through their PowerPoint presentations in a class.
3. PowerPoint can be an effective tool for breaking down the big picture into smaller steps.  A PowerPoint that is designed in a simple, easy to follow format is typically the most effective for student learning.
4. PowerPoint can be an effective technological tool in a classroom because it can engage the interest of the students and hold their attention so that higher-order thinking can take place.

1. When creating a Prezi, be sure to read and watch the tutorials.  Spending a little more time at the beginning can save a lot of time in the end.
2. A Prezi can be a more interesting way to engage the students rather than a typical projector presentation.  Using a Prezi occasionally can really help to bring variety to a classroom.
3. A Prezi can be a great assignment for students to complete because it allows them to be creative in their arrangement and design.
4. When considering Prezi as a mode of presentation, it is important that teachers consider that the rapid motion of the presentation may cause some students in the classroom to have motion sickness.  For this reason, it may be important for teachers to use this form of presentation in moderation.

3. A blog is a helpful tool for communication between the students in the class so that they are able to ask questions.  Students who know the answers are able to respond.  This is similar to peer support.
4. A blog is helpful to reinforce other student skills, such as reading, writing, and technology.
